Current Research: 
  • Investigate high current-producing biofilms capable of sustainable bioenergy/bioproduct production and waste treatment.
  • Develop low-cost and high-performance electrode and separator materials for microbial electrochemical systems
  • Scale-up microbial electrochemical systems for electricity generation and wastewater treatment.
