2016 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program

Congratulations are due to Maoya Bassouni, a PhD student in the WRE degree program, advised by Dr. Chad Higgins in Biological and Ecological Engineering.

Maoya has been selected to receive the 2016 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). Her selection was based on her credentials and her strong application which “demonstrated potential to contribute to strengthening the vitality of the U.S. science and engineering enterprise.”  This is a highly competitive fellowship and it is an honor that Maoya was selected.  Congratulations!
