Kenya Project documentary coming Spring 2013

Since 2009, Engineers Without Borders-OSU, the Oregon State University Chapter of EWB-USA, has been working on the Kenya Project to bring potable water to Lela, an agrarian community of 2,000 people in southwest Kenya. This past July, a team of five students and one advisor traveled to Lela to oversee the drilling of a community water well and the building of a rainwater catchment system.

Justin Smith, Oregon State's manager of multimedia production, travelled with the team to chronicle their efforts. The College of Engineering at OSU plans to debut a feature-length documentary in spring 2013. In the mean time, please view the trailer. KEL WER, the title of the documentary, means "to bring song."
