Richard Cuenca to Brief National Academy of Sciences

Richard Cuenca has been invited to brief the Space Science Board of the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC on application of remote sensing for water resources management on 26 April 2012.  In particular he will be addressing application of the thermal infrared (TIR) band on the Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) to be launched in 2013 as well as later potential missions.  The briefing will involve the Space Science Board of NAS and project scientists from the Department of Interior U.S. Geological Survey.
