BEE has revamped its graduate seminar (BEE 507) and is rolling it out winter 2021!
This upcoming term, BEE will host 10 guest speakers, who will give 30 minute talks on Thursday afternoons. In addition, two 5 minute lightning talks will be given by BEE faculty and students to help introduce the speakers. The point of the seminar is to engage with the broader scientific and professional communities, and more importantly, to grow our department culture and strengthen our relationships with each other. All BEE students are required to register for 2 terms of BEE 507, so we encourage you to register for BEE 507 this term to help launch this course.
