Academic Interests:

My projects involve developing rapid sampling techniques to monitor fungicide resistance in Erysiphe necator, the causal agent of grape powdery mildew, and using those methodologies to investigate trends in the frequency of resistance alleles on a much larger scale than previously possible.  With more information on how fungicide resistance can be assessed and mitigated in a vineyard, I also am looking to further understand grower perception and its role in management technique implementation.
